Cut & Compose Nairobi — Video Editing & Motion Graphics Hackathon

Calling all video editors and motion designers — this is your creative arena. Cut & Compose is a FREE, hackathon-style challenge: a full week of daily themed briefs designed to push your editing and motion graphics skills to the limit, judged by working professionals, with a live finale showcase of the best work. Go hybrid — submit every challenge 100% online from your own setup, or join the energy in person at the Nairobi live venue and compete side by side with fellow creatives. Expect tight turnarounds, surprise prompts, honest peer feedback and a closing showcase that puts the week's best cuts on a screen for everyone to see. Whether you live in After Effects, DaVinci, Premiere or CapCut, come with your laptop, your software and your stamina. No entry fee — your only investment is the edit.
